ADVERTISING ON GOOGLE SEARCH NETWORK

Google Ads is a PPC (pay per click) system and the price the advertiser pays for the click on the search network depends on different factors, being competitors the main one, based on how many advertisers want to display their ad to a user on a specific search. The CPC in Spain can vary between €0.25 up to more than €8. The most competitive industries are insurance, hotels, flights, bets, lawyers, and cosmetic medicine. Search campaigns’ biggest advantage is that they generate high quality traffic.

GOOGLE SHOPPING CAMPAIGNS

If you are an e-commerce, you should also be interested in investing on Google Shopping, a price comparison tool with mini product cards that pop up on the top of the page results, depicted either centered or at the right-hand side of the SERP. It is not easy to implement or optimize, it is very important to set the bidding strategy correctly and a constant campaign follow up.

DISPLAY ADVERTISING ON GDN

GDN is the Google Display Network, and it is another advertising channel that works best if you are trying to build brand awareness to a specific target through digital media. The most common advertising formats are banners and videos. This network offers more than 2,000 segmentation criteria, the main ones being:

  • Web themes.
  • User interests.
  • Location on specific websites.
  • Contextual.

GDN main advantage is a powerful segmentation capacity at a very competitive price, that in Spain varies between €0.10 and €0.40 per click.

REMARKETING CAMPAIGNS

Google’s remarketing, better known as retargeting, is usually a very profitable channel since it allows you to impact users who have already visited your website and has many possibilities for segmentation according to user behavior within the web, and customization of the ad you want to display.

From an operational point of view, we invoice our clients for three concepts:

  • A set-up fee that includes a complete keyword strategy, ads and extensions development, and account set-up. It is paid only once, at the beginning of the agreement.
  • Banners or graphic ads to activate in the display network (GDN) and in remarketing.
  • A monthly campaign management & optimization fee.

We do not require a minimum duration of the collaboration agreement, although we recommend a period of at least 3 months, to have a minimum volume of statistics that allows us to optimize the campaigns throughout that period.
